Teams:
Teams of five (including the principal) will participate in the Summer Institute.  It is highly recommended to bring a higher education partner and a central office champion to serve on your team of five, if applicable.

Focus:
This year's conference will focus on the personal journey towards Powerful Teaching and Learning. Teams will reflect on the current state of their school and will design the components of an Action Plan for sustainability, using the Self-Assessment as a starting point.  Work will be geared towards fidelity to the Design Principles, and will include attendance at concurrent sessions identified by Design Principle and by strand (New to NCNSP, Leadership, ECHS, STEM), as well as allocated time for facilitated Team Planning.

Team Registration:
On-line registration opens March 5, 2012 at 8:00 a.m.  Be prepared to register your five participants (including the principal, higher education partner, and central office champion if applicable) at that time.  You will need first and last name, title, and email address for each participant. You will also be able to register up to five additional participants at a cost of $750 each should you choose to. On-line registration will end April 5, 2012.  Each principal will be sent the on-line registration link prior to the registration window.
